Can I use Musical DNA® Education without a piano keyboard, just to see the lessons?

Musical DNA is designed to unlock new lessons and track progress based on successes with the lessons and other challenges, and this can only be tracked if you have a MIDI piano keyboard to use with Musical DNA.

Will my piano keyboard work with Musical DNA® Education?

Musical DNA® works with any piano keyboard that has a USB port and is able to output MIDI data (this includes almost all piano keyboards made in the last decade). For these keyboards it's as simple as plugging it into your computer and pressing "Begin the Game".

Also, if you have an older MIDI piano keyboard with a five prong, circular MIDI port then MIDI to USB adapters are available which will allow you to play Musical® DNA Education Software just as easily.

How long until I'm a piano expert?

Does Musical DNA® Education support any other MIDI instruments?

How do I install Musical DNA® Education?

Musical DNA® Education software is actually completely web-based, so you don't need to download any large files. The software only requires you to install a web plug-in to your browser so that your piano keyboard's MIDI input can be read.
